Nothing is finally something exciting
Nothing Phones are for phone haters.
Modern smartphones are a necessary evil for me. I need one, but I don’t like using them. I’m a terrible writer with a phone. If I need to write more than a couple of words, I’ll use a computer.
I’ve had tens of different phones in my life. Back in the day, phones were exciting. Every year they introduced new features and design concepts because technological development was rapid and creative.

Cat update
Here are some more recent cat photographs.
Natu is 2.5 years old male Siberian cat (6.2 kg). Lulu is 1 year and 2 months old domestic female cat (3.6 kg). They really are each other’s best friends.

Splitting a single monitor into 2 virtual horizontal monitors in Linux
About 6 months ago I changed my job and nowadays I work mostly remotely. I have wanted to optimize home office but also keep it as simple as possible. In addition, I use the same equipments with the work computer and my own computer. Both computers are connected to power supply and either has USB-C cable connected to the docking station. When I’m at the desk, I don’t want to use either computer’s built-in monitor.

Automated cat weight measurements
So, now I have 2 cats and weight of both must be monitored. Lulu (6 months) needs more weight as she’s growing. In contrast, Natu, (2 years) should lose about 500 grams weight to be in the optimal weight.
In past I’ve used a paper bag and a luggage scale to measure weight of small cats. It’s also the easiest for Lulu. However, Natu is too big (6.6 kg) and strong character for that to work easily.

Welcome Natu and Lulu
Here are my new partners in life. Their previous owners had allergies and they needed a new home for the rest of their lives. Natu is almost 2 years old Neva Masquerade boy. Lulu is 6 months old lady kitten. <3
